Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)

The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) was looking to completely overhaul their web presence when they contacted us to help build and deploy its web strategy. We have revamped and completely migrated their previous site to a drupal platform and provided an evolving web solution to meet their business goals on a five year perspective.

Geneva Peacebuilding Platform (GPP)

The aim of Geneva Peacebuilding Platform (GPP) is to bring together and coordinate international players based in Geneva, active in promoting peace. As an umbrella organization, the GPP organizes activities for its members. That is why this site highlights the activities organized by the GPP for one part and member organizations on the other.

The project left us with four technical challenges:

Renewable Energy Policy for the 21st Century (REN21)

REN21 wanted to offer its members a platform to share relevant information on renewable energy. The platform had to first recommended high value content to the members of the community and promote the circulation of knowledge between them.

Inovae has leverage its expertise in content aggregation to build an interactive tool for sharing and managing information, knowledge and best practices in renewable energy.

UNAIDS Indicators Registry

We have launched a new version of the Indicator Registry of the UNAIDS based on the Open Source platform Drupal, in 2010. This knowledge management platform included data migration from a SQL Server hosted at UNAIDS, and the deployment of simple moderation workflows for the publishing and editing of new Indicators at UNAIDS.

World Health Organization (WHO)

In order to better prevent international spread of contaminated food and foodborne disease and strengthen food safety systems, the International Food Safety Authorities Network  (INFOSAN) needed to support and enhance collaboration among members on their secure website by making it more user-friendly and offering collaboration tools. Proposing a large spectrum of collaborative and interactive tools to be added to the website and extranet, Inovae was happy to develop custom and special features to meet the WHO and INFOSAN specific needs, such as:

Democratic Control of Armed Forces - Tunisia (DCAF)

We launched very recently a new website for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF). The platform is where all tunisian laws and related policies are kept available to the public.

InOvae has supported the DCAF in the definition of a new information architecture, while helping them move from a excel based document, to a completely public and searchable archive. We also provided easy to use tools to help them manage and translate the site in arabic and eventually other languages.

APRES-GE Intranet

This intranet was developed for the "Chambre de l'économie sociale et solidaire de Genève" (Chamber of the social economy of Geneva).  This solution allows them to manage all their daily activities, except the accounting, for which they kept a specific program.

The conception and development of this type of intranets is extremely flexible, since it uses all the power of Drupal to respond adequately to all your organization's specific needs.   The advanced relations between content allows for a pretty dynamic and easy to use platform for your daily work!

Mouvement des Aînés in Geneva

The Mouvement des Aînés (MdA) in Geneva wanted to develop an intranet supporting the administrative activities and to add new features on the Association's public website. InOvae made the Association website functional by providing a simple display of events to meet the customers' needs.

La Maison de l'Architecture

The Maison de l'Architecture in Geneva brings together and promotes the interests of architects in the region. It also has a mission extension of the architecture, for the general public. They wanted to recreate the site, keeping the graphic line and most of the structure to change technology and better prepare for future developments. One of the main challenges with this project was to respond to both a rigorous layout, and flexibility.

Pharmaciens Sans Frontière - Suisse

Pharmaciens Sans Frontières (Switzerland) wanted to conduct a pilot project to test tools to facilitate the exchange of information and medicine within their network of partners. The aim was to set up simple tools to facilitate handling. They also wanted to cut costs to keep the resources for a second phase of improvement at the end of the pilot project.
